What's going on here....
Hi, and indeed welcome to the Surly Big Dummy Society.
Sounds official, but its not. Andy @ Surly thought it sounded "classy", but it aint. It's simply a place on the web for Surly Big Dummy owners to hang out, for curious folk to find out more, the sharing of info, ideas and events.
Early days, but between us we will see this grow into a nice little collective of all things Big Dummy.
Have a look around, and check out the gallery and do Email me with a few words and pictures of your Big Dummy.
Add yourself to the mailing list.
Organise an event... join in.
Cheers... Charlie (aka Charlie The Bikemonger)
NEWS.... We are about a month old now, and we already have a few gallery submissions (cheers and thanks), and loads of movies. The guys at Surly seem jazzed about this and mention it their blog... http://www.surlybikes.com/2009_07_01_blog_archive.html#9017929895964510935 The Xtracycle guys are also jazzed. Kipchoge (who I think works with/for Xtracycle?) and his pedal powered band of big dummists "The Ginger Ninjas" are touring Europe in 2010 - check the events page for a cool movie of their Mexican tour.
Thanks to www.surlybikes.com for the picture
